Agra and the Taj Mahal
After a two hour train journey we arrived in Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. As soon as we got to the train station we were bombarded by the touts. We think this place is better named "Agro Agra" since you can't walk more than 5 steps without being hassled by either a rickshaw driver or begger, or come to mention it a cow, monkey, goat, or even donkey!
This place really is mad, the number of animals there are! We even found a cow laying in the road at a roundabout!!
As for the Taj Mahal, well we've put some pictures below. It's absolutely huge and kind of changes colour according to the time of day. Everyone said it was amazing at sunrise so there was us trotting down there at 5.30am....to see it looking almost the same as during the day! As for them charging 25p for locals to enter and about 10 pounds for foreigners to enter, well that's just rude!!
Taj Mahal at 6am!
